Tata Motors' Tigor EV is one of India's more interesting electric sedans, with pricing that allows it to sit in the higher end of the affordable premium electric sedan segment. The Ziptron electric platform uses efficiency combined with safety and value, whether it's your daily commuter, a family EV or simply reducing running costs, the Tigor EV is worth a serious look for 2025.

Tata-ev MegaCharger & growing EV network…fast the pun is intended for the longer distance and intercity travel.
"It went from 224km to the battery was dead.... bumper to bumper.... highway" - independent range test.
"I have done... 8,100km. Range...190-200 with a full charge. Service.. hit and miss."
These comments indicate that, while the rated range looks good, real-world usage depends on driving style, terrain, climate, and whether the AC is running.
The Tigor EV comes a close second to the Nexon EV in 2025; range, warranty, features, all the wonderful Tata charging infrastructure. If your use case is to commute in a city, or suburbs, and sometimes use the highway, with reasonably assured access to either home charging or fast charging, there is little argument about its excellence value - even better now with the Tigor's price reduction given the GST cut.
In order to make the most out of any Tata Tigor EV (or electric vehicle) experience, you should try to get the highest ARAI range variant, aim to charge it overnight, use the air conditioning sparingly when possible, and check out local fast charger options when going on long trips.
